Save Money on Your Electric Bill!

As a Canadian company, we see and feel first hand, specifically, in Ontario where our head office is, how many residents are struggling as the costs continue to rise. This is merely one of the reasons that we are passionate about getting the word out about LED lighting for your home as it is close to home for us.

A small change can have a huge impact and what we’re about to tell you will change the way you think about how simple it can be to save money from making small changes that not only benefit you and your family, but also the environment.
If you switch to LED from Incandescent or CFL there is: guaranteed electrical savings from simply changing the way you light your home; less consumer waste (you are leaving behind a smaller carbon footprint); high quality, better light than incandescent or CFL, longer lasting than any other bulb available on the market.

To show you some actual figures, here’s a comparison of what the market currently offers:
*Using a reference of 11.6 cents per kW.hr with A19 bulbs (which is below the statistical average):
1. Incandescent 60w vs. LED-9w (A19s)

9W LED light bulb costs: $2.55 per year, per bulb, at 6 hours a day  (@11.6 cents per kW/hr).

60 Watt Incandescent light bulb costs: $24.40 per year, per bulb, at 6 hours a day (@11.6 cents per kW/hr).
2. CFL 60w vs. LED-9w (A19s)

9W LED light bulb costs: $2.55 per year, per bulb, at 6 hours a day  (@11.6 cents per kW/hr).

CFL 60 Watt bulb costs: $5.00 per year, per bulb, at 6 hours a day (@11.6 cents per kW/hr)

The figures above are approximate values based on the 11.6 cents per kW/hr rate. However, there are differing rates based on geographical area and they fluctuate based on times of day (peak time, mid-peak time and off-peak time).
You can still see the abundant savings just from using the LED bulbs themselves. Another thing to consider is that when using an LED bulb, 6 hours a day, it will last approximately a minimum of 12 years. Comparing this to using an Incandescent and/or a CFL bulb that would have s shorter lifespan by quite a large margin, (approximately, once a year you would need to buy new bulbs), also factoring in the cost of  your trip to the store to get them, you’ll be saving more money by not going with Incandescent or CFL over the 12 years that your LED bulbs will be illuminating your home.
